Vintage Report 2019: A Long, Warm Summer

The 2019 vintage in Oakville began with abundant rainfall and late soil moisture—a long, warm summer with few extreme heat events allowed for vibrant and expressive wines. The relatively mild finish to the season preserved freshness and finesse in the fruit, with extended hang time enhancing color, structure, and soft tannins.
