Vintage Report 2017: Mother Nature's Curve Ball

The 2017 growing season began with abundant rainfall, leading to extended flowering. A heatwave over Labor Day weekend accelerated harvest, followed by cooler weather that normalized sugar levels. Despite the October wildfires, most of the grape tonnage had already been harvested.
